Awards Arribe 2010

Agrifood Arribes Fair within the International Wine and Culture presents the Arribe 2010 top awards to be held next August.

In this edition, extending the number of awards in the category gold because of the success and very good quality of previous editions.

With regard to the tasting committee in this year's judges will be distributed equally between Spanish and Portuguese, with an emphasis on closely related to professional media.

A Veiga start up "Trevenatio. firts meeting of enterteiment, conservation and nature"

A wine tasting begins today at 11:00 A.M., the contest "Trevenatio. first meet entertainment, conservation and nature, "which runs until next Sunday. Attendees can taste the white wines of Galicia's five D.O.

Mexican Wine Importers visit Valdeorras wineries

Art exhibition, wine and gastronomy in the "Camino de Inverno"

A cultural initiative that combine painting, sculpture, music and cuisine of the "Camino de Inverno".

The hotel complex "Paladium" in Vilamartín host first edition of the show "Valviñart" an exhibition that shows the confluence between art and life that emerged from the known as "Camino de Inverno". This shows that combining different cultural aspects will be presented on 16 July at 08.00 PM.

Gallaecia and AGC attend to Valdeorras to taste its wines

The Sommelier Association Gallaecia and AGC Galicia (Galician Association of Tasters) have joined forces and have decided to do their tastings together in the various Councils Regulators Galicia. On Tuesday 15th of June have tasted in Regulatory Council of Valdeorras.

The conclusion was unanimous, an excellent vintage. For Mercedes, the President of Gallaecia is undoubtedly the best year since she started tasting in Valdeorras, at least in the light of the wines that have been submitted to the competition. All wines have been healthy, well-crafted, balanced, structured, very varietal that have to be and with an excellent response to raising those who have decided to submit your wine over time. If you go back to the Roman road in Lugo, celebrating Arde Lucus certainly again make a long stop to have a few coups of wine.

Valdeorras cross-boundary project will join the Wine Route

The managers and leaders of the Wine Route Association of Valdeorras do yesterday a meeting with Agader technicians to receive information on the new joint management will this initiative within the cross-border project that brings together five routes Galician and Portuguese and with European funding.

The association, aimed to promote Wine Routes of Valdeorras was created a year ago with 12 members between the warehouse and the City Council of O Barco, Petín and A Rúa. There are currently 16 other candidates waiting for their inclusion: a dozen wineries, three catering establishments and the City Council of Rubio. While for some months, the project barely advanced last spring has returned to propel and are already beginning the marking.
