The “Vía Nova” that linked the Portuguese city of Braga with today the castilian-leonese of Astorga, it was one the most important ways thet the romans built in the northwest Spain. The “Vía Nova” stands out from other because it preserves a large number of archaelogical remains from Roman times, as it passes through Valdeorras we can see the Bibei bridge or that of the Cigarrosa, that preserves large sections of roadway.
